As summer begins to turn towards autumn, join me in the Secret Sound Garden for a Mabon morning of warmth, sound and rest.

Mabon marks the Autumn Equinox — that brief meeting place between light and dark, a threshold into the slower half of the year. A time to notice what has ripened, what we have gathered, and what we may be ready to lay down.

There is something particular about receiving sound outdoors. Slower rhythms, sustained tones and gentle vibration can invite the breath, body and mind to settle into a different pace. And in the garden, the soundscape is never created by instruments and voice alone ...birdsong, wind, leaves, weather and the living rhythms around us become part of it too. Rather than shutting nature out, we listen with it.

A chance to synchronise with the garden, return to the rhythms of the natural world, and remember that we are part of nature too, body, mind and soul.

Arrive from 9.30am for a hot cup of herbal tea and time to settle into our cosy outside-in space, warmed up with a gas fire.

At 10am, we’ll begin an hour-long sound and voice journey created especially for this turning point in the year.

Afterwards there will be time to gently return and integrate before we finish by 11.30am at the latest.
